Engr. Florentino Rafal Nalundasan was called to eternal life on November 28, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1927 in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology, earning a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer. He taught at Ilocos Norte Institute Of Technology, now MMSU, before moving to Guam where he worked for Heide and Cook. He began his civil service career on May 1968 as a Mechanical Engineer with the Navy's Facilities Engineering Dept. On January 28, 1970 the Guam Board of Engineers and Architectures awarded him registration #139 to practice as a licensed Mechanical Engineer. He retired in 1995 and moved to Makakilo,HI He is survived by his wife, Eleuteria; son, Edgar; daughter, Grace N. Chinen; grandson, Shaun Chinen; granddaughter, Trinity Nalundasan; sister, Placida N. Servanes; numerous cousins, nieces & nephews, grandnieces & nephews, great- grandnieces & nephews, and great-great-grandnephew. A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016. Visitation: 9:00am-10:00am; Service: 10:00am-11:00am at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Burial: 1:00pm-1:30pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers, please.
