KENNETH K.H. LUM
97, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away December 19, 2016. He was born in Palama on September 24, 1919. He was a member of the Hawai'i Pharmacists Association, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Chung Shan Association, Kung Sheong Doo, Pearl Harbor Rotary, Shriners and UH Peng Hui Fraternity. Graduated McKinley and USC. US Navy in WWII. Opened new Chun Hoon Pharmacy, Sav-Mor Drugs, and several in Waikiki. Survivors: wife Florence, children Stanton (Nickie), Barney, Preston (Tammy), and Melissa "Lissa" (Joel); siblings Dr. Carl (Lily), Dr. Bert (Annie), Marian Chun (John Sue), and Melanie Jakahi; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son Newton and daughter Didi Ah Yo. Visitation: 9:30am; Service: 10:30am. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Community Church of Honolulu, 2345 Nuuanu Avenue. Aloha attire.
