Age 95 of Honolulu, HI, passed away Dec. 26 2016 in Aiea. She was born May 7, 1921 in Wahiawa. She retired as a librarian for the State of Hawaii Department of Education and was co-founder of Ilima Ballroom Dance Club. She is survived by son, John P. (Kanani) Moon; daughters, Joan E. M. (Steven) Chang, Jill E. (William) Schilling; sisters Lily (Gene) Schulting, Mary Welch; and 4 grandchildren. Committal service 10:45 a.m., Tuesday (Jan. 10) at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
