63 of Kapolei, HI, beloved husband, father, son, brother and grandfather passed away January 9th, 2017. He was born September 22, 1953 in Honolulu and raised in Aiea. He worked and retired from the State of Hawaii after 34 years. After retirement he went to work for Safeguard Maintenance and Eagles Environmental Services. Besides his wife Cindy (Lindsey) Alvaro, Larry is survived by his mother, Adelaide (May) Narvaez; his four sons, Joby Nakamoto, Paul (Joy) Alvaro, Keala (Lei) Alvaro, Mighty (Mua'au) Isaia; his three daughters, Noe (Russell) Lindsey-Naki, Tennille Emmsley, Anela (Kevin) Alvaro-Calleon; his 22 grandchildren; his 2 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Melvin (Donna) Alvaro, Thomas (Misty) Narvaez; his sisters Yvonne (Penny) Alvaro, Gwendolyn Narvaez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held honoring Larry on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10 am at St. Jude Church, 92-455 Makakilo Dr., Kapolei, HI 96707. "TALLYHO"
