Pasitale E. Burgess, 60, of Waipahu, passed away on December 28, 2016 at the Tripler Army Medical Center. Master Sergeant (MSGT) Pasitale Burgess, USMC (Ret) was born in Western Samoa. He is survived by his spouse, Sela H. Burgess; sons; Jeremy P. Burgess and Junior (Jacqueline) Burgess; and granddaughter, Lily Luavaasiitia Burgess; brothers, Atimalala (Malelega) Leafa, Galuafi (Ula) Burgess, Puela Leafa, Fred (Rosalia) Burgess, John Burgess, and Simi (Faatuno) Maligiapu; sisters, Naomi (Greg) Swift, Aiga (Ken) Fowler, and Mary (Lucious) Latimer . Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the St. John the Baptist (2324 Omilo Lane, Honolulu). Viewing 10:00 A.M.; Mass 11:30 A.M. Fellowship to follow in the St. John the Baptist Hall.
