Alfred K.B. Lee, 91, of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away on January 2, 2017. Alfred was born on July 27, 1925 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Doo Kyung Lee and Hark Sun Lee. He worked as an airplane mechanic prior to his lifelong work as an Insurance Salesman. A pioneer in the insurance industry, Alfred got into the business in his early twenties. He specialized in Annuities. He was able to work with the State's government special program and helped principals and teachers statewide prepare well for retirement. Alfred, a great businessman, loved the sport of golf, exercising, going to musical programs, and meditating for hours. He was a dedicated servant of God. A loving husband, father, and grandfather is survived by his wife of 62 years, Susie K. Lee; his son Mason (Wendy) Lee, daughters, Portia Szymczak, Claudia Lee, and Sonya (Jim) Trapp, and 6 grandchildren. He is survived by brother Ernest Lee, and sister Vivian Park. Services to be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Monday, February 6, 2017. Visitation 10:30 a.m., with Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Casual Attire.
