Preceded in death by husband, Richard Masaichi Arakaki, she is survived by her sons, Melton (Carolyn) and Caine Arakaki; brother, Jiyoei "Joe" Kaneshiro; sister, Sally (Thomas) Fitzgerald; step granddaughter, Leina Alviar; step great-grandson, Hoby Kobayashi and nieces and nephews.
