82, of Mokuleia, passed away peacefully at home on January 8th, 2017 under St. Francis Hospice care. David was born on Sept 5th in Watertown, South Dakota. He was a Marine Corps Korean War Veteran. He settled in Waialua where he retired as the art teacher in 1989 from Waialua High School and Intermediate. Donations will go towards an art scholarship in his name to that school. He is survived by his wife Kathy; Son David X Lee, Jr. (Elaine); Daughters, DeDee Maguire (Bart), Patty Carlson (Brad), Jenny Lee (Garret), Becky Lee Green (Andrew); Hanai daughters; Haili Nelson (Andy), Tiana Decosta Chun, Jasmine Vierra (Roland); 7 grandkids and lots of hanai grandkids, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Waiaulua United Church of Christ at 67-174 Farrington Hwy., (Next to Waialua HS gym) on February 11th 2017. Visitation: 10:00am.; Services: 11:00am.. Aloha attire or casual wear is fine. Urn placement will be held in June 2017 at Mililani Memorial park. VAYA CON DIOS
