Age 79, passed away at home on January 19, 2017 in Kapolei. He was born on February 23, 1937 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was a graduate of Eastern High School, Class of 1955, in Detroit, Michigan. He worked as a Retail Executive for 40 years, and was most recently a Partner of The Honolulu Mint. In his last years, he most enjoyed working at the USS Arizona Memorial Park. He officially retired on September 30, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith A. Jones, sons, Steven D. Jones and Douglas E. Jones, daughter Amy L. Jones (Lopaka Brown Sr.). Preceeded in death by eldest son D. Scott Jones (Ruth). Also survived by sister, Shirley L. Dowse and brother Barry J. Jones. 11 grand- children and 16 great-grand- children. Services to be announced at a later date.
