84, of Honolulu, an Air Force veteran and retired optician for Tokyo Opticals, passed away on January 5, 2017 at Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Carol N.; sons, Tyrus and Trent; sisters, Elaine Shozuya, Doris Chang (Robert) and Ellen Sato; and 4 grandchildren.
