FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Kay Kimie Peralto
Kay Kimie Peralto92, of Kaneohe, passed peacefully at home on January 17, 2017. Her loving husband James Peralto, her sister Hiroko Matsuda, and brother Sakae Manjiu, preceded her. She is survived by her younger brother Hideo Manjiu. Kay was born in Hana, Maui on June 22, 1924 to Eiji and Sai Manjiu. Kay is survived by her eldest daughter, Mona Sands (Sandy) of San Diego; son, Robert Peralto (Darlene) of Wailuku, Maui; and daughter Karen Peralto (Brian Malanaphy) of Waimanalo, Oahu; grand- children (Leslie Sands, Kristy Borges, Brittni Peralto, Kaiea Peralto, Cole Peralto, and James Malanaphy), and great-grandchildren (Taylor Sands, Kaleb Hanlin, Carly Peralto, and Ryan Peralto). Kay, a true saint, loving wife and mother, caregiver, role model and delight to everyone, gave of herself generously and continuously. Her spirit, graciousness, humor and fun-loving but straight-forward attitude will be dearly missed, but also gratefully and fondly remembered, by her children, grandchildren, great-grand- children, and by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 46-129 Haiku Rd., Kaneohe. Visitation at 10:30 am, service at 11:30 am, followed by 1:00 pm burial at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, 45-349 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe. Aloha Attire.
