Jacqueline Lynn Vegas Kahele
Passed away at home in Cerritos, California, on January 5, 2017, at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband Peter Kahele. Three children, Sydney and Brian Sanchez, Alex and Maybelyn Kahele, Two grandchildren, Kapua and Kai Kahele. A graduate of Kaimuki High School in 1964, she attended San Francisco State College, majoring in the financial field and remained there throughout her career. Retired on December 31, 2015, as Chief Financial Officer. Her dedication and reputation in the Garment Industry was well known and considered by many as second to none. She was a tough but fair negotiator, excellent manager, a mentor, friend, was loved and at times, a Mom. Funeral services, February 23, 2017, Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary "Makai," at 10:00 AM, Reception to follow at 12:30 PM. Aloha attire, flowers welcome. Burial for immediate and close family members only.
