Jack L. Fretz passed away in his home in Palm Coast, Florida on January 30, 2017, his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia Gail, at his side. He was 86. Jack was born in Kokomo, Indiana on December 15, 1930 to Hillard Clark and Mary Ruth Fretz. Jack served our country and was stationed in Hawaii. Falling in love with the islands, he set down roots and raised a family. He loved the sea and sailed often. Jack retired to the mainland, where he continued to sail well into his 70's. Remembered for his friendly smile, independence and strength, Jack was an inspiration for his children and beamed with pride as he spoke of them. You will always be with us in our hearts.
