Violet Kiko Santiago
Violet Kiko SantiagoViolet Kiko Santiago, aged 95, passed away on Jan 19, 2017. Born, January 9, 1922, in Honolulu, she was the last living child of 22 children born to Joseph and Mary Kiko. She is survived by adopted sister Vera Kiko Rice. She loved to host and cook for family events be they for 10 or for 1000. Her kitchen became the heart of her family's gatherings. Violet was the Luna that everyone loved and respected. She brought her family together to work with one another, enjoy each other's company, and love one another for over seven decades. The love of her life, Joseph Santiago, passed on December 2, 2011. They were married on October 21, 1939. It's Violet's turn to take a little for herself, to be with the love of her life once again. Violet is survived by children Lehua Carpentier (Richard), Henry Santiago (Gloria), Julie Oba (Randy), and Keao Santiago (Joy). Grandchildren, Keola Carpentier (Shar) and Keala Carpentier (Jennifer). Great grand children Makanamailani, Lehualani, and Logan Carpentier. Services will be held at the First Pentecostal Full Gospel Assembly in Kalihi at 1159 Gulick Ave: Friday, February 24. Visitation at 4:00 P.M. - Services at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25. Visitation at 9:00 A.M. - Services at 10:00 A.M. Burial 11:00 A.M. - Hawaiian Memorial Park; Kaneohe, HI.
