97, of Aiea, Oahu, passed away on February 14, 2017. She was born in Koloa, Kauai, on June 1, 1919. She is survived by daughter, Lenore (Satoshi) Kozohara of Hilo; daughter-in- law, Linda Taira of Altadena, CA; and by 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Edwin (Ida) Shiroma; sisters, Florence Miyahira, Doris Momohara and Alice Chung; sisters-in-law, Betty Shiroma and Alice Shiroma; and by nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a member of Kalihi Union Church, Waiau Senior Citizen Club, and Gaza Yonagusuku Doshikai. Celebration of Life service will be held at Kalihi Union Church on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
