Ruth Puanani Wedemeyer Kam
90, of Kaneohe, joined her husband on February 5, 2017. Born on July 10, 1926 in Hilo, she was a retiree of Kaneohe MCAS. Ruth is survived by son Thomas Kam Jr and daughter Debby Chang (Harry), 3 grandchildren Keith (Lee), Kapono and Kau'i Tica (Jarrod), 4 great grand- children Kalani, Nihi, Kahiau, Aulii and 2 great great-grand- daughters Allison and Anastasia. She is survived by brother Kenneth Wedemeyer (Valdean) and sisters Winona Gaison, Bridget Iseke (Whitney) and Myrna Arakaki (Robert). She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Thomas K W Kam, parents William and Ruth Wedemeyer, brothers Herman, Earl and Charles and sister Jewel Wright Todd. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, at Borthwick's Maunakea Chapel from 9-10 followed by services. Burial to follow at 1 pm at Hawaiian Memorial.
