92 of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2017. After his retirement from the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, he continued work as a licensed electrical contractor. His life long passion was for collector cars and his pride and joy was his 1962 Chevy Corvette! He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lillian; daughters, Gaylec (Clyde) Kawakami and Donna (Paul) Shinkawa; grandchildren, Ryan (Jenn), Chad (Desiree), Kristin (Rik), and Reid; great grandsons, Ryder and Ryken; sisters, Elizabeth Yoshida and June (David) Dang. A memorial celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Visitation at 10:00 a.m., service at 11:00 a.m., burial at 2:00 p.m. Casual attire.
