Age 64 passed away December 30, 2016 in Weatherford, Texas. Carla was born in Cedar City, Utah, November 24, 1954. As a child she lived with her parents and siblings in Nevada, Utah, Guam and Alaska. She graduated in the 1970 class of Dimond High School, Anchorage, Alaska. Carla graduated from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. While living in Salt Lake City she worked for K-Mart on Parley's Way eventually becoming office manager. Carla then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada working for Nevada Valley Bank and Bank of America. She later transferred to the San Francisco, California office. In 1998 Carla joined the Bank of Hawaii moving to Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii. Carla loved Hawaii and the people very much. Only her retirement in May of 2016 pulled her away from Hawaii. Carla moved to Texas with her sister and settled near Weatherford, Texas. She delighted in watching the deer feed in the front yard. The kindness and friendly people of Texas made her feel at home. She looked forward to becoming better acquainted with her neighbors. Carla was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She spent several years teaching in the church and was often heard to say she learned more than she could ever share. Her love of the Gospel centered her life and she lived by it. Carla is preceded in death by her parents Nina B Henrie Robinson, Claud L. Robinson and brother Earl Robinson. She is survived by her sister Robyn Robinson of Texas, numerous cousins and many friends. A Memorial will be held March 18, 2017 at 10:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1451 Kanapuu Drive, Kailua, Hawaii. Interment will be at the family plot in Delta, Utah.
