96 of No. Kohala, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2017 at Oceanside Assisted Living Center in Hauula on Oahu. He retired from Kohala Sugar Company as a mill supervisor and continued with his passions of fishing, gardening, and simply "fixing" things. He is predeceased by his daughters Jane Kise and Georgianne Kise; survived by his wife of 74 years, Harue, daughters Barbara (Gus), Cynthia (Warren), 6 grandchildren, 6 great grand- children; siblings Kikue Takaki, Tomie Brady (Dee Jay), Shinso (Sally) and many nephews and nieces. A memorial celebration will be planned in No. Kohala at a later date as per his wishes. No Koden.
