Carmen A. Espiritu-Igawa
Carmen A. Espiritu-Igawa, a resident of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Palolo Chinese Home in Honolulu. Carmen was born to Marcelina Araos and Bernabe Espiritu in Baguio City, Philippines on July 16, 1941. She was 75 years old. Carmen was a retired teacher who taught at the following schools; Waipahu Intermediate School, Waianae High School and St. Louis School. Carmen is survived by her son, Colin Igawa and his wife Sarah; brothers, Teddy Espiritu and his wife Profita, and Tony Espiritu; sister, Jovita Castro; sister-in-law, Zenaida Espiritu; three grand- children, Carter Igawa, Brynn Igawa, and Paige Igawa. Wake service for Carmen will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m., service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation to be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Resurrection of the Lord; visitation from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m., Mass to begin at 9:00 a.m. Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
