Apisa Mark “Peter” Maaele
Age 39, of Waipahu, passed away March 19, 2017. He was born January 3, 1978 in Pago Pago, Am. Samoa. He was an artist who, because of disabilities, painted by using his mouth to hold his brushes. He was a former musician with Soul Free, a church organist and a tour boat operator. He is survived by his father, Mark Maaele; brother, Thomas "Masi" Maaele; sister, Laura Mortrud. Services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation 11:00 a.m.; service 12:30 p.m. with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
