FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Hazel Sadako Yasuda
Of Honolulu, 92, peacefully passed on March 25, 2017 at home. Born in Paia Maui, she attended business school and worked as a dedicated secretary for the American Lung Assoc. The 6th of 10 siblings, Hazel remained close, listened, and shared an upbeat common sense wisdom. She enjoyed baking and cooking traditional foods for family gatherings, raising orchids, and traveling to Las Vegas with beloved late husband Renny. They were loving and supportive of family; they cherished their friends. Hazel lived with courage, kindness, humor, and grace, touching the hearts of all who came to know her. She is survived by daughters Gayle S. (Lloyd) Ah Quin, Cynthia C. (David) Sakamoto, sister Sandra K. Tengan, 3 grand- children, 3 great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
