Verdelle Constance Kealo'okawa'a Peters Lum passed away at the age of 88, at home peacefully surrounded by her family in Kilauea on April 25, 2017. She was born on April 6, 1929 in Honolulu. Verdelle was very active with the Kauai Association United Church of Christ. She was a volunteer Secretary and Moderator of the Wai'oli Hui'ia Church. Verdelle was an Accountant for the Waikiki Beach Press, American Sanitary Laundry, and C & H Sugar Company. She was the Office Manager-Account Manager for Coors Beer Western Region, and Murchison Construction. She was also employed by Hanalei Bay Resort. She is preceded in death by Husband, Albert YC Lum; Son, Barney GS Lum; Parents, Albert Kahilikuokalani Peters and Esther Kekaiku'ilehua Woodward-Peters; Sister, Florence Ka'ala Peters-Hashimoto; Brother, Spencer Kahilikuokalani Peters, Half-Sisters; Esther Kekaiku'ilehua "Lehua" Perkins; Stella Peters; and Elaine Perkins-Arellano; Half-Brothers, Milton Perkins; Ralph Sing Choy; and Homer Perkins; Hanai Sister, Agnes Chung.
