Betty Kiyoko Otoshi
92, passed away on March 28, 2017. She was born in Honolulu on October 15, 1924, to Shika and Seisaburo Inouye, and raised in a family of seven girls and one boy in Moili'ili. She graduated from McKinley High School, where she was a member of the school's very first women's softball team. Betty worked at Liberty House, and retired as the bridal registrar there after thirty-five years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, Yoshiyuki, and is survived by her son Grant (Lynn), her daughter Beverly (Richard) Desmond, and three grandchildren: Chad, Chris, and Gillian.
