She then established her own company, the Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation (HCRC), to provide innovative financial and consulting services to public and private organizations who engage in building livable and affordable communities in Hawaii. Dot cherished her role as mother to Schuyler and Drake and was always involved in their school and sporting activities. She was also a staunch and loyal UH Warrior Football fan. Dot was a tireless volunteer, giving selflessly of her time and talents to St. Nicholas Church and the Hawaii Episcopal Diocese, Hanahauoli School as well as other organizations. She was also instrumental in establishing RESOLVE, a national infertility organization, in Hawaii.
