WENDELL CHANG
On May 11, 2017, Wendell Moon Kwai Chang went peacefully home to the Lord. The loving care of the staff and volunteers of the St. Francis Hospice will always be heartfelt. In February, he returned to Honolulu after working 2 years at MCAS Iwakuni, NAVFAC Japan. He also worked as a Civil Engineer, UCC Minister, General Contractor, and a Construction Manager at NAVFAC Hawaii. During his 70 years of life, his joy came from doing "Kingdom work", serving in leadership roles at various churches. He will be remembered as a faithful servant, loving husband and father, caring brother, and a special "Uncle" who shared his love of God and fishing. He is survived by his wife Blanche; sons Joshua (Lindsay), Jedd (Michelle) and Joel; brothers Stephen and Lester (Sharon); sister Lynette (Guy) Yamashiro; sister-in-law Jolene Chang; and by the extended family members of the Chang, Lam, and Sayama Ohana. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 27 at the Ko'olau Ballrooms in Kaneohe. Visitation 9am - 10:30 am, followed by service and fellowship. Aloha attire. No flowers.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
