October 21, 1946 to May 12, 2017 Henry Hung Wo Lee, 70, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017. He was born on October 21, 1946 in Honolulu to Choy Lee and Tai Moi Chun Lee. At the time of his passing, Henry was the Executive Director of the United Chinese Society of Hawaii and was previously employed at First Hawaiian Bank. Henry was a very active member of our Chinese community and served as president of several organizations including the United Chinese Society of Hawaii, Chung Shan Association of Hawaii, Kwangtung Community Honolulu Lin Yee Hui, Lung Doo Benevolent Society, the Chinese Buddhist Association of Hawaii, the Chung Tao Village Association, the Chung Wah Chung Kung Hui, the Hawaii Chinese Civic Association, the Hoo Cho Sha Society, the Lee Association of Hawaii and the Mun Lun School Alumni Association. Henry was also the Chief of Chee Kung Tong Society. Henry is survived by wife Donna, daughter Janice, son Alan (Yumi), two grandchildren, sister Sue (Kimo) Na'auao and brother Douglas (Pat) Mar. Services will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation 9:30. Traditional Chinese Services 10:30. Private Burial to follow. Casual attire.
