95, of Molokai passed away on April 15, 2017 in Honolulu. He was born in Lahaina on May 13, 1921. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Richard was the retired co-owner of Misaki's, Inc. in Kaunakakai. Upon his retirement from Misaki's, Inc., he and his wife Grace (deceased) opened the Kepuhi Sundries shop at the Sheraton Molokai Hotel/Kaluakoi Resort. He so loved his life on Molokai and took advantage of all the outdoor activities Molokai had to offer: sports, fishing, hunting and golf. He was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees and the Lions Club and a regular visitor to Las Vegas. Richard is survived by his son, Alan (Linda) Misaki, daughters, Ann (Bruce) Yoshimura and Paula Vincent, 3 grandchildren, Lianne, Randy and Derek and sister, Irene (Harold) Iwane.
