73, of Waimanalo, took his first breath in Heaven on May 22, 2017. He was a retired Captain of the Honolulu Fire Department with 28 years of service and a Veteran of the United States Navy. His legacy lives on through his wife, Annette "Apple" (Lum-King), daughters, Kalei and Dionne; son, Garrett Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers Anthony Jr., Clint and Scott Wong; great grand niece Angel Kaawa Lum-King and great grand nephew Isaiah Kaawa Lum-King and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation 9:00-10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Service 10:30 a.m.; Committal Service 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire.
