Linda Ann Lehua Tam
65, passed away peacefully in her home on April 20, 2017. Linda was born on November 1, 1951, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The second born of four children to Caroline Swift and Tong Sing Tam. A retired federal employee of the Department of the Navy, Pearl Harbor where she worked for 32 years at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Naval Ocean Processing Facility, Naval Public Works Center, and Commander U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT). Linda was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed traveling, shopping, visiting with friends and family, and spending time with grandchildren. Linda is survived by her 3 children: Melvyn (Geraldine) Hirahara, Michael-Lynn "Cha-Cha" (Eric) Takemoto, Shane (Nikki) Tam; 10 grandchildren: Evan, Malisa, Alexandria, Andrew, Makayla, Jazlynn, Jayden, Gavyn, Elyjah, and Jase; Brothers: Merton Kekiwi, Gary Tam, Fred Tam; Sisters: Eloise Kapuniai, Leona Hirahara, Diana Wong, and preceded in death by brother Eugene "Sonny" Swift and twin granddaughters Arianna and Brianna. Memorial Service for Linda will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel; Visitation at 9am and Services at 10am. Flowers welcome. Private scattering of ashes at a later date.
