58, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2017 at Queens Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan and graduated from Kubasaki High School (Class of 1976). She later received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaii - Manoa. She had a successful career in the hotel/tour industry in Maui working in human resources and dining reservation at the Maui Intercontinental Hotel and later as a concierge at the Grand Wailea Resort and Concierge Connection. She also worked at the Five Palms Restaurant in sales and event planning. She is pre-deceased by parents, Harry and Yoshiko Kawamoto and survived by brother Floyd (Dayni) Kawamoto and sister Debbie Kawamoto and nieces Alyssa Butler and Eryn Kawamoto. Memorial service will be held on Thursday July 6 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. 5:30 pm Visitation and 6:30 pm Service. Casual attire. No flowers.
