Passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Placentia, CA with her son Ray at her side. Mildred was born October 17, 1924 in Honolulu, HI the daughter of Abner Awai Chang & Clara Pa'aoao Fairman Chang. She lived close to Waikiki and learned how to swim at an early age. Mildred was preceded in death by her first husband Calvin E. Parker in December of 1961. She married Ellwyn G. Brickson on June 5, 1966 in Yorba Linda, CA. Ellwyn also preceded her in death on January 5, 2006. Mildred is survived by her brother Arthur Chang of Kailua-Kona, HI and sister Mearl Lopes of Pearl City, HI and also her children Arthur Parker (Theresa) of Redding, CA, Barbara "Pua" Iuli (Holbin) Mililani, HI, Ray Parker (Yu-leng) of Chino Hills, CA and Samantha Pohtos (Bob) of Ashburn, VA and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private ceremony for family will be held at the Memory Garden Memorial Park & Mortuary where Mildred will be laid to rest.
