Thomas S. Watt
June 1, 1945 - July 15, 2017 Thomas S. Watt was born at Queen's Hospital on June 1st, 1945 in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii, to Yew Watt and Mui-Kwai Chun Watt. He attended St. Louis High School (Class of '63) and Chaminade College (Class of '68). Upon graduation, he accepted a job offer from the Social Security Administration (SSA) in San Francisco, California. Tom worked for SSA for 37 years in both technical and managerial positions. He retired after undergoing treatment for hypopharyngeal cancer. He would battle cancer twice more, but ultimately lost the fight on July 15th, 2017 in San Leandro, California. He was predeceased by his father Yew and brother Stanley, but leaves behind his mother Mui-Kwai, wife Carol-Anne Tucker-Watt, former wife Kathleen Williams, daughter Kellie Piacente and her husband Michael, son Daniel Watt and his wife Nikita, grandchildren Jasmine, Jaden, Lauren, Sydney and Collins, brother James Watt, sister Linda Moreno and her husband Richard, sister Lynn Kurata, along with many other family members and friends. His ashes will be returned to Hawaii at a future date.
