Evangesta "Simemar" Bongo, 84, of Waianae, a retired Supervisor for Tamura Super Market, Waianae, passed away in a Makaha Nursing home on August 25, 2017. She is survived by husband Samuel Bongo; sons, Samuel "Butchie", Jr. (Deborah - deceased), Don (Janice) and Ryan (Becky) and a daughter, Celeste (David) Ames; sister, Drucilla Abelaye; brothers, Jerry Magsayo & Melvin (Diane) Magsayo; 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services to be held at Waianae Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Service; 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kaneohe.
