Stanley Goichi Higashi, 83, passed away on September 8th at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a 1952 grad of Farrington High School, formerly with the Hickam Air Force Base Groundpower Unit, retired from the US Fed Gov't/ GSA/PBS Federal Building in Hilo. Survived by wife, Mae (Minakawa) Higashi, sons, Sterling (Victoria), Stuart, and Steve (Yuko) Higashi; grandsons, Dorian and Donovan Higashi; sisters, Flora Y., Irene J. and Carol S.
