JAMES D.K. MANUWA
1958-2017 59, of Honolulu, HI passed away from Multiple System Atrophy, a rare brain disease, which he bravely fought for over 12 years. Born in Palolo, and raised in Ewa Beach, James was a graduate of Campbell High School class of '76. He attended Santa Ana College, and served a short time in the Marine Corp. James served the Honolulu community as a substance abuse counselor for the Sand Island Treatment Center for over 30 years. James is survived by his wife Carole, son James "Keali'i", daughter Kawehi (Marc) Au, step-daughter Heather LeMay, brother Gordon, sisters - Patty Girl (Vera Vierra), Cindy (Richard) Callejo, Tammy (Joe) Waligura, Ernestine, and 5 grandchildren.
