Paul Fernandez
Paul Fernandez, 94 of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away at home on August 29, 2017 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born on June 17, 1923, graduated from Roosevelt High School Class of 1942. Served briefly in the Army Air Force, Honolulu Fire Department and eventually began his own business; PF Electric Typewriter and Central Parking Service spanning 60 years. Paul served as President of the Kalihi Business Association. He was very active in the community and in Lions Clubs International. He was a charter member of the Moanalua Lions Clubs International in 1961, became a District Governor in 1971 and on to International Director from 1973-1975. Paul was the ambassador of Aloha and made many friends in all his travels throughout the world with Lions International. Paul will be remembered for sharing his Aloha through his selfless efforts improving the quality of life serving the community through volunteering and Lionism. Paul was a dedicated husband, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by Wife Patricia. Sons; Vernon (Betty), Alan (Paz), Paul Nolan (Florence), Ryan (Merri), Myron (Sarah). Daughter; Charlene. Sisters; Winona Foulks, Leatrice Cazinha. Grandchildren; 19. Great Grandchildren; 14.
