Gladys Tomiko Ibrao Keniston
Age 85, of Moanalua Valley, peacefully passed away on September 13, 2017. She was born in Kawailoa, Oahu to Masa and Leocadio Ibrao. A graduate of Waialua High School (Class of 1950) and the University of Hawaii (Class of 1954). Gladys retired as an educator from the Hawaii Department of Education. Attractive and intelligent, her hearty jokes and laughter kept things a jumpin'. She enjoyed fishing, growing flowers in her garden, and quilting. Most of all she loved her dog, Ginger. Her brothers, James Ibrao and Stanley Ibrao, brother-in-law, Gilbert Fooks, and 4 generations of nieces and nephews survive her. A service will be held at the Mililani Downtown Chapel, 20 S. Kukui Street, at 10 am on Thursday, October 26, followed by her interment at 1:30 pm at Punchbowl National Cemetery where she will join her husband, Sgt. Gerald Keniston. Casual attire and flowers permitted.
