Husband, father, grand-father and best friend, Wai Mun Chung, 85, passed away on 8/05/2017 at Queens Hospital. He was born in Honolulu to Ah Mee Goo & Mun Kan Chung. An accountant by trade, he started out at Coopers & Lybrand as an intern. He subsequently served as Secretary-Treasurer at Inter-Island Resorts for many years until it's closing and then worked at Finance Realty as Treasurer before finally retiring. Despite leaving the work force 20 years ago, he maintained cherished friendships with his former co-workers right up to the end. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Kam); brother, Bowman (of Sterling Heights, MI); sister, Leatrice (of Chicago, IL); sons, Stephen, Gerald, Michael (Pei Mian), Kerwin (Stephanie), and Nathan (Joy); and by grandchildren, Katherine, Alyssa, & Jonah. A private celebration of life service was held in his honor.
