Edith Kawaiulailiahi Jesse Mar returned to our Father in Heaven on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Born on March 10, 1936 in Honolulu, Hawai'i to parents Alexander Jesse and Ahinoama Violet Young. Married Arthur "Didi" Shew Sun Mar. Sealed with their children as an "eternal family" in the Lai'e Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survived by children Leslie (Marilyn Munoz) Mar Sr., Derek (Alvina Kekahuna) Mar Sr., Lindsay (Gert) Koenigs, Dayna (Albert Jr.,) Beyer, Kimberly (Robert) Onzuka, Kendall (Mary Regal) Mar, Heaven-Faith Mar-Huddy, and Promise Love Nathaniel Mar-Huddy; brother Leonard (Lori Shenton) Jesse, brother-in -laws Victor Punua Sr., Harry Mar; sister-in-laws Jasmine Mar, Margaret Mar, 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren.
