Born on February 03, 1931. Passed away on September 27, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Dr. Alan K. Luning. She is survived by four of her six children - Valerie Lynn Luning-Akau (Happy), Michael Luning (Nancy), Henry "Hank" Luning, and Vida Cavaco. A brother Henry N. Maile (Eleanor). Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday October 27th at the Kailua Beach Park pavilions (Lanikai side) from 10:00am - 2:00pm. A private scattering of Jean & Alan's ashes will take place on a later date.
