87, of Waipahu, passed away at home on September 17, 2017. Formerly from Capt. Cook, Kona, she was an Executive Secretary for Kaiser Cement in Lualualei. Preceded in death by parents, Kichijyu & Saki Uemura; Siblings, Masato Uemura, Yoshimasa "Jerry" Uemura, Masae "Myrna" Ikehara, Masamitsu "Mame" Uemura, Kazuki "William" Uemura, Yoshiharu "Lefty" Uemura. Survived by husband, Mervyn Ah Tou of Waipahu; daughter, Evelyn "Evie" Ahlo of Waipahu; grandchildren, Bronson (Denise) Ahlo of Utah & Brandi Ahlo (Denny Benzon) of Waipahu; great-grandchildren, Kupa'a, Tia, Diesel & La'i; Sisters-in-law, Hideko Uemura of Kona, Janet Uemura of Pearl City & Marian Uemura of Kaneohe; many nieces and nephews.
