46, of Waimanalo, Oahu passed away Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Castle Medical Center. Serena was born on October 17, 1970. She graduated from Kailua High School in 1988, and worked as a Medical Secretary. She was the youngest of 5 children to the late Larry L. Loa, Sr., And survived by mother Laura L. Loa. She is also survived by her 5 children: Brandon, Lola Barnes (Leeland), Elijah, Jacob, and Jadice. Siblings: Larry L. Jr. (Nancy), Ginger Loa-Callia (Alec), Michelle Poaha, and Laurie Loa. Nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends. Serena gave so freely from her heart, asking nothing in return. Often giving more than she received. She was a strong and loving person who withstood many obstacles in her life. She was a fighter and fought to the end!
