RUDY P. REESE AKA SMALL CHAMP February 14, 1944 - September 27, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rudy on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at home in Nanakuli. He graduated from St. Louis High School, class of 1963, before serving in the U.S. Army which took him to the Continental U.S. and South Korea. He later attended Honolulu Business College earning his AA degree in Business. He was retired from the State of Hawaii, Housing and Development Corp., and had since become involved in community organizations, most of which were on the West Side. Rudy will be missed by all who knew and loved him; he was generous of his time and love for all that he believed in. Survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Pat; fur buddies, Lilo and Snoopy; brother Harry N. Reese, Jr. and sister Winona E. Kukona; sister-in-law, Coleen K. Sakamoto, (Tennessee); two nieces and a nephew; 3 Grandnieces, 5 Grandnephews, and 2 Great Grandnieces and many Godchildren. Services to be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel. Family visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Friends/Public Visitation: 10:00 a.m.; Service: 11:00 a.m.. Private burial will take place at a later date so family requests.... ~ NO FLOWERS, please ~
