Lorena Quon Wong passed away on October 8, 2017 at the age of 84. She attended Roosevelt High School and graduated from the University of Hawaii. She began her career as a medical technologist at Queen's Hospital and was later employed as the business manager of her husband's dental practice. She lost her eyesight during the last 35 years of her life, but did not allow this disability to hamper her ability to enjoy life with her friends and family. She continued to enjoy cooking, listening to audio books, babysitting her grandchildren and never missing an episode of Jeopardy. Preceded in death by her son, Dr. Bradley P. Wong; she is survived by her husband, Dr. Peter G.C. Wong; children, Christina (Gino) Gabrio and Dr. Wesley L. Wong; daughter-in-law, Nancy Wong; grandchildren, Jonathan (Mona) Gabrio, Jenna Gabrio, Jayann (Chris) Laniauskas, Andrew Wong and Alex Wong; great-grand- children, Zylas and Zaleia Gabrio. Graveside service: 9:00 a.m. On Monday, October 30 at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
