ROBERT LEWIS FISHER Robert Lewis Fisher 1947 - 2017 passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu after a long illness. Robert was born in Davenport, Iowa, son of Max and Mildred Fisher. Robert grew up in Miami, Florida where he graduated high school from Bolles Military Academy, graduated from the University of Florida where he played football and earn a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. He later attended and graduated from Carnegie School of Business. The first few years after college he was working for American Express in sales in New York. He then joined the Braman Automotive organization which began his extensive career in the Automotive Business. He then worked for JM Family Enterprises (JM&A Group), Deerfield Beach, Florida for 22 years, where he was a star, helping the company expand from a regional southeast company to a nationwide company. He became the Western Zone Vice President before retiring in 2009. Robert loved working for the JM&A Group. It made possible for many wonderful trips over the years when he and his wife Anne hosted Automotive Dealers all over Europe and the Caribbean. Robert was very much loved and respected. He will be remembered for his hard work, amazing talent, creativity and very special humor. Robert and his wife Anne have lived in Hawaii, a place they have always loved, and have had homes there for the past 17 years. He is survived by his loving wife Anne A. Fisher, his sons, Scott Alan Fisher and his wife Michelle, Christopher Bryan Fisher and his wife Amy, his stepsons, Charles Robert Kilgore Jr., Wolford Hunter Kilgore and his wife Arleen, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. There will not be a memorial service. Robert has willed his body to the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii. Donations may be made in his name to the Hawaiian Humane Society.
