VIOLETTE MAHEALANI AH NEE IBARRA, SWEETIE 67, died on September 27, 2017 at home in Kalihi surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Kaua'i to Richard and Annie Ah Nee on January 18, 1950 and graduated from Castle High School in 1968. She retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation where she worked for both Highway and Harbors Divisions for 30 years. Violette is survived by her husband of 44 years Proceso, her sons Chad, Joey (Gary), her daughter Jessica (Freddy), and two grandchildren, Chastity-Ann and Nathaniel Ibarra. She is also survived by her brothers Donald, Leonard (Karen) and sister Richidette (Clever) and preceded in death by older brother Richard. Her feisty and generous spirit will live on in all who knew and loved her. Services will be held on November 9, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kane'ohe at 10:00am with lunch to follow.
