Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on October 30th, 2017 at the age of 90. Her family & friends call her Grandma or "Baba." Tokuko was a WWII survivor and native of Tokyo, Japan. One of her fondest memories was becoming a U.S citizen. She lived life with a positive attitude and chose to see the best in everyone. Preceded in death by husband, Keith; mother, Taka Shimizu; father in-law, Makoto; and daughter, Ava (John) Rose. Survived by son Albert & daughter Florie (Steve) Barry; grandsons, Joe Oxendale & Josh (Sarah) Oxendale; great-grand- sons, Caige & Callan Oxendale; great-grandnephew, Mark Huttman; and many cousins, in-laws & friends. Celebration of Tokuko's life will be from 2 to 6 pm, Saturday, November 4th at her residence, 1023 Hoihoi Ave, Wahiawa. Please stop by to have some food and share your favorite memories of "Baba."
