Ruby Yaeko (Yokoyama) Nakashima passed away on Oct. 5, 2017. Born in Holualoa, Kona Hawaii into a family of two brothers and three sisters, she graduated from Konawaena High School and moved to Honolulu in 1948. In 1951 she married Kenneth Hiroshi Nakashima. A devoted wife and mother, Ruby is survived by husband Kenneth, son Leslie and his wife and daughter, Anne Gauldin and Lianna Nakashima, of Los Angeles, CA and daughter Karen Stern and her husband and son, Ralph and Matthew Stern of Ann Arbor, MI. She is also survived by her sister, Edna Otsuka of Kailua, Kona. Services will be private and the family requests no koden. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
