91, of Honolulu, a retired home economics teacher, passed away on Sept. 21, 2017 in Honolulu. She graduated from the University of Hawaii, and taught at Honokaa High, where she met her late husband, Minoru. After they married, she spent a year at Kohala High and a year at Columbia University. She then spent two years at Hilo Intermediate, two years at Dole Intermediate, and 30 years at McKinley High. She is survived by son, Bruce (Laura); daughter, Lori Chun; brother, William Harada, and by four grandchildren. Private services held. Arrangements Provided By: HOSOI GARDEN MORTUARY
